2026-06-22: Prof. Deserno takes on the role of Conference Chair at SPIE Medical Imaging 2027.

Prof. Dr. Thomas M. Deserno will serve as Conference Chair together with Kenji Suzuki (Japan) for the conference Computer-Aided Diagnosis as part of SPIE Medical Imaging 2027.

The internationally renowned event will take place from 14 to 18 February 2027 in Vancouver, Canada, and is one of the leading conferences in the field of medical imaging and artificial intelligence.

In conjunction with the conference, the Call for Papers has been released. Researchers worldwide are invited to submit their latest work, particularly in areas such as AI-based diagnostics, deep learning, and innovative applications in medical image analysis. The abstract submission deadline is 5 August 2026.
